To describe the behavior of HIV screening and risk estimation for simultaneous reactivity with other infectious markers in a blood bank of Colombia during the period 2006-2011. Materials and Methods: A descriptive study, Odds Ratios (OR) and their 95% CI were calculated; Multivariate logistic regression models were
used, the data analysis was performed on the program 19.0. Resultados Spss®: A logistic regression was estimated adjusted OR for coexistence variables, gender and age grouped (2.178 to 2.633 and 1.883) respectively. Conclusions: age, gender and cohabitation acted as risk factors for coinfection simultaneous screening conducted by the Blood Bank, are subject to simultaneous reactivity in the process of screening blood units.
