Adverse events in the provision of services health are being considered as an important cause of mobility and general mortality, located within first ten causes in industrialized countries, generating patrimonial detriment in institutions and increasing the risk of juridical lawsuits to actors, EPS and IPS of the social security system health. It is necessary therefore, to design, implement and evaluate Safer Care models to contribute to quality improvement in service delivery. Presents the academic community, scientific and health sector, a collection of relevant information on tools for developing patient safety strategies, practical application, which
has been developed to implement patient safety programs at the local level
