Se presenta una revisión sistemática, utilizando el método PRISMA acerca del impacto del Mindfulness en el rendimiento deportivo. Se utilizan las bases de datos PUBMED y SCIENCEDIRECT y PSYCINFO. Se examinan diversos aspectos como la nutrición, el entrenamiento físico y psicológico. Tras los filtros correspondientes, se analizan 12 estudios finales comprendidos entre 2018 y 2023. Los resultados, en general, muestran que la práctica del Mindfulness mejora el bienestar mental y físico de los deportistas, ayudando a controlar el estrés y la atención. Además, podría prevenir y tratar problemas de salud mental. Sin embargo, se sugiere una mayor rigurosidad en algunos diseños de investigación y una mejor comprensión de cómo los beneficios psicológicos se traducen en mejoras concretas en el rendimiento deportivo.
