É apresentada uma revisão sistemática, utilizando o método PRISMA, sobre o impacto do Mindfulness no desempenho desportivo. São utilizadas as bases de dados PUBMED e SCIENCEDIRECT e PSYCINFO. Vários aspetos são examinados como a nutrição, o treino físico e psicológico. Após os filtros correspondentes, são analisados ​​​​12 estudos finais entre 2018 e 2023. Os resultados, de um modo geral, mostram que a prática de Mindfulness melhora o bem-estar mental e físico dos atletas, ajudando no controlo do stress e da atenção. Além disso, pode prevenir e tratar problemas de saúde mental. No entanto, sugere-se um maior rigor em alguns desenhos de investigação e uma melhor compreensão de como os benefícios psicológicos se traduzem em melhorias concretas no desempenho desportivo.
