A systematic review is presented, using the PRISMA method, on the impact of Mindfulness on sports performance. The PUBMED, SCIENCEDIRECT and PSYCINFO databases are used. Various aspects such as nutrition, physical and psychological training are examined. After the corresponding filters, 12 final studies from 2018 to 2023 are analysed. The results, in general, show that the practice of Mindfulness improves the mental and physical well-being of athletes, helping to control stress and attention. In addition, it could prevent and treat mental health problems. However, greater rigour is suggested in some research designs and a better understanding of how psychological benefits translate into concrete improvements in sports performance.
