Here we present the case of a female patient 47 year old, patient native and resident from the city of Manizales (Caldas), Colombia. Presenting with oppresive precordial pain after having a discussion with some family members, whilst presenting an ST-segment elevation suggestive of anteroseptal compromise with a significant elevation in cardiac enzymes with ecocardiographic and angiographic markers compatible with Takotsubo cardiomyopathy. Due to the difficulty of its diagnosis and the ease of confusing it with etiologies of similar clinical pictures, this case is taken in order to bring the reader closer to thinking about this pathology, knowing it more thoroughly with a parallel case to obtain more benefit from this new knowledge , allowing in subsequent events to quickly start a behavior. Due to the difficult diagnosis and the ease to confuse with other similar etiologies, we take this case report with the objective of  induce the reader to think in this pathology as a possible diagnostic, showing its clinical features, so we could identify and treat it early.
