It is a positive and optimistic view of human development, which involves emotional, cognitive, interactional and social aspects. Perspective that has the support of WHO and PAHO. Resilience strengthens an active and leading position of all agents for the resolution of situations that affect the well-being and development of individuals and collectivities. It is not a static but dynamic quality, nor is it innate since it can be encouraged and strengthened, with the purpose of contributing to a coping with existence from an active, optimistic and enthusiastic perspective, which generates empowerment and agency capacity. In conclusion, its complexity and multifactorial condition is established, which implies conditions on a personal, family and social level.
