The spell of consciousness: between philosophy and neurobiology

El hechizo de la conciencia: entre la filosofía y la neurobiología

The objective of this work is to understand the in-compression of the phenomenon of consciousness from the neurobiological and philosophical perspective, developing an initial reflection about the findings of the investigation "Consciousness: neurobiological and philosophical perspective" research group in ethics and political line and developing individual and collective consciousness doctorate in Cognitive Sciences, at the Autonomous University of Manizales. This article reports the uncertainties that arise from thinking when faced with the phenomenon of consciousness, it is no longer a fact easy to catch with words, as its prevalence is to show the human being as experience rather than theory. This makes its gaseous form for knowledge, but the attempts who have been made, both from neurobiology, and from philosophy, if not psychology, are ubiquitous in literature. Thus, the issue before us is to look some controversies both speculation formulated in philosophy and their possible relationships as in the neurobiology of consciousness, from Antonio Damasio
