Pre-excitation syndroms are entities of low prevalence but they have medical relevance because of its characteristic presentation in which are included events from palpitations to sudden death. In physiopathology terms there are aberrant pathways (Kent’s in Wolff Parkinson White and Jame’s in Lown Ganong Levine) which act like accesories ways for the cardiac conduction from atrium to the ventricles, generating electrocardiographic patterns that can be detected by the physician in order to determine the medical or surgical treatment that could be more secure for the patient taking in count the clinic manifestations that are being presented in this syndromes. The aim of this document is to make a literature revision of the most common pre-excitation syndromes and its
relation with atrial fibrillation.
