Analyzed the causal agent, degree of burn, location, area of total burned surface, treatment performed in the children’s Hospital and the complications, among others. Result: the 65,7% of burns occurred in the male, the mean aged of patients was 55 months (SD 45.6), was found as a common cause the scalding liquids (46,1%), the body area most affected was the upper limb(52%) and 79,9% had second degree burn. The 19,4% of the children was treated with physiotherapy, the 3,07% had soft tissues retraction and the 41,6% of burns is child abuse from parents. Conclusions: the burns populations are infants, children and young that for their nature to discovery all around their environment are easily susceptible to burns, and although the patients presented minimal deficiencies and permanent limitations, and death was submitted by this event, the increase in the home safety through education to parents and caregivers of children is imperative.
