This is a compilation of relevant information to reincorporate knowledge, in order to
make of this technical examination, a form of diagnosis and sometimes a therapeutic
medium, not only in terms of the digestive tract but also for other regional and systemic
eventualities.
Pursuing that this stigmatized review which can be generally perceived as a taboo, can
provide encouragement and guidance similar to the one given to the breast examination
and to the cytological proceedings in women, so that once the motivation of the
patients is achieved, we should count with sufficiently prepared doctors to maximize
the benefits offered by this review and we will not come short with the diagnostical
expectations.
