The purpose of this article is to analyze anxiety in the migratory context through an existential-phenomenological perspective. A narrative literature review was conducted using Scopus, PubMed, and Google Scholar, considering publications between 2014 and 2024, along with classical contributions. After applying inclusion and exclusion criteria, 61 documents were selected and organized into two analytical axes: theoretical approaches to anxiety and existential anxiety as an interpretative category. The findings position migratory anxiety as an interpretative category that cannot be reduced to a clinical disorder alone, but rather as an existential experience shaped by the uncertainty of life projects. It is concluded that anxiety, being rooted in human existence, manifests as a vital crisis marked by the challenges inherent to the migratory experience.
