The journal Tempus Psicológico, in its commitment to continuous improvement, adheres to international standards for scientific publishing. By virtue of this, it adheres to the guidelines of the Second International Conference on Research Integrity, held in Singapore, from July 22 to 24, 2010.

Some of the guidelines suggested by the Singapore Conference are transcribed below.
Editorial Board Responsibilities:
- The Editorial Board shall be responsible for the selection, evaluation, and publication process of all submitted manuscripts.
- Editors must maintain strict impartiality throughout the selection and assignment of peer reviewers.
- The Editorial Board shall adopt and enforce editorial policies that foster transparency and academic integrity.
- The editorial team is committed to keeping authors fully informed regarding the status of the selection process and evaluation outcomes.
- Editors shall safeguard the integrity of the published record by issuing formal corrections, clarifications, or retractions whenever necessary.
- The Editorial Board is fully committed to promoting and upholding international benchmarks for good editorial practices.
- Editors must provide comprehensive guidelines and necessary information to both reviewers and authors to ensure the successful completion of their roles. • The Editorial Board shall maintain clear and robust procedures for identifying and managing potential conflicts of interest.
- Editors must verify manuscript authenticity and reject any submission containing plagiarism, citation manipulation, data fabrication, or any other form of research misconduct.
- The Editorial Board undertakes to promote the scholarly exchange of ideas, mutual respect, and intellectual freedom throughout the call, selection, evaluation, and publication phases.
- Editors must ensure that manuscripts do not contain false, defamatory, or injurious statements against individuals, groups, or organizations. Any related allegations or legal concerns shall be immediately referred to the University’s Legal Office for formal verification.
Author Responsibilities:
- Research must be carried out in compliance with ethical standards and in accordance with current regulations that regulate the responsible management of copyright.
- Researchers must present their results clearly, honestly, and without falsification or inappropriate manipulation of data.
- Researchers must comply with the publication requirements requested by the journal, guaranteeing their originality, non-simultaneous publication in other media and avoiding plagiarism or other bad practices.
- The authors must assume responsibility for the results presented and published.
- Authorship must accurately reflect the contributions of the parties involved.
- Funding sources and relevant conflicts of interest should be noted in the first footnote of the document.
Reviewers' Responsibilities:
- Conduct a rigorous and objective peer-review process in strict accordance with the latest scientific and theoretical advancements within the relevant discipline.
- Adhere to the evaluation formats, guidelines, and formal procedures established by the journal. The review process permits reviewers to request formal or substantive modifications from the authors during the initial evaluation phase.
- Based on the revisions submitted by the authors, the reviewer shall make a final decision to either accept or reject the manuscript; however, requesting additional rounds of revisions after the initial adjustments is strictly prohibited.
