Complaints and appeals policy

The journal aims to address and resolve all complaints and claims in a prompt and constructive manner. Depending on the nature and complexity of the complaint, the case will be reviewed by the editorial team and the staff of Tempus Psicologico, with decisions made in accordance with the recommendations set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

To submit a complaint or suggestion to this journal, please write directly to the journal's contact email: revistatempuspsicologico@umanizales.edu.co. All communications will be resolved within a maximum of thirty (30) business days. Depending on the complexity of the complaint, the complainant will be informed if more time is required to conclude the investigation.

The complaint or claim should be clear, specific, and include sufficient information to demonstrate a potential breach of the journal's editorial ethics. Whenever possible, supplementary documentation should be attached as proof or evidence of the situation in question.

Complaints that fall outside the scope of the journal, such as personal complaints against authors, editors, reviewers, or the journal's editorial team, will receive a response explaining the reasons why the complaint is not considered within the journal's jurisdiction. Furthermore, the journal will refrain from conducting investigations when complaints or claims are presented in an offensive, threatening, or defamatory manner
