Those who are not heterosexual were more likely to present some suicidal behavior, a little more than double the cases of suicidal ideation in the last year than in heterosexuals. The attempt tripled the probability in the last year. Knowing that sexual minorities have a higher risk of suicidal behavior is a tool for early prevention and priority in the care of this population.
