The process of the education on Medicine, and specially in the area of General Surgery, has based traditionally the construction of the knowledge on the all-powerful and authoritarian labor of a teacher without allowing in the majority of the times, an active
participation of the student. The following article of reflection, tries to do a description of the different ways of approaching
this process to conclude with a proposition to correct some of the weaknesses of the models raised previously.It does part besides the project “Playful in the Surgical Internship “ developed by the
author in his labor as professor of Manizales University and it was conceived as conclusive essay of the Graduate of University Teaching in the First Semester of 2007
