Personal data protection policy

The journal *Archivos de Medicina* (Manizales) complies with Statutory Law 1581 of October 17, 2012, enacted by the Congress of the Republic of Colombia, which establishes general provisions for the protection of personal data, and Decree 1377 of 2013, with the aim of ensuring the privacy of user data collected through the Open Journal System (OJS) platform at the time of user registration. Likewise, it adheres to the University of Manizales’ policy on data processing and protection. 

The data provided by the user upon registration will be preserved and protected in accordance with current regulations and will not be shared without the owner’s prior authorization, including email information.
