Timeframes from Submission to Acceptance and Publication

Once the article is received on the portal, the estimated timeframe is 150 days, provided the submission criteria are met.

  • Submission and initial decision: 10 days
  • Submission for peer review: 70 days
  • Author reviews: 60 days
  • Acceptance and publication: 10 days

The processes during this time are as follows:

  • Communicate to the author or authors the acceptance of the article and initiate the processing of the text for its publication.
  • In case of rejection, the author or authors are informed of the criteria set forth by the peer evaluators -double blind- who do not allow the publication of the article.
  • When the peer evaluators -double blind- give the concept that an article can be published, however, it is necessary to adapt it, the coordination sends the format to the author without the data of the evaluator so that the appropriate adjustments are made.
  • If the article is accepted after the adjustments, the author or authors sign a letter of assignment of rights to the journal to allow its publication, where also, That the article is an original work in the sense in which it is derived from work investigative or of an own intellectual activity; that the bibliographic sources have been contrasted so as not to fall into false information that usually circulates in social networks and internet pages, among others.
  • Whatever the decision, the final results of the evaluation process will be unappealable.
  • Between the presentation of the article, evaluation, corrections and publication, the journal has at least 150 days.
