Diamond Open Access Policy

The Plumilla Educativa journal embraces scientific and humanistic knowledge as a common good at the service of society. In accordance with this principle, the journal adopts a diamond open access policy, aimed at guaranteeing the free, open, and universal circulation of published content, at no cost to authors or those who consult the articles.

The journal believes that academic production, especially in the fields of psychology and the humanities, should contribute to strengthening scientific dialogue, critical reflection, and the collective construction of knowledge, promoting equitable access to research without economic, institutional, or geographical barriers.

Under this diamond open access model, the journal does not charge fees for submission, processing, evaluation, or publication of articles. Likewise, all published content is freely and immediately available for reading, downloading, consultation, distribution, and academic use, always respecting the principles of citation, attribution, and intellectual integrity.

The journal promotes open, ethical, and socially engaged science, understanding that access to knowledge is fundamental for the academic, cultural, and human development of communities. For this reason, it seeks to strengthen inclusive editorial processes that encourage the participation of researchers from diverse institutional, social, and geographic backgrounds.

Published articles can be accessed without restriction through the journal's official website and the databases and indexes in which the publication is indexed. The journal also promotes the responsible academic circulation of its content through institutional repositories, digital libraries, and other scientific dissemination channels that respect the corresponding terms of use and attribution.

Plumilla Educativa understands open access not only as an editorial policy but also as an ethical stance toward knowledge and its social function. In this sense, it reaffirms its commitment to accessible, pluralistic, critical, and humanly meaningful scientific production, aimed at contributing to the care of life, the understanding of human experience, and the transformation of contemporary realities.
