This research focused on the search and evaluation of educational software, used in the development of methodological and didactic strategies for teaching and learning processes of differential calculus. Selection criteria were applied that allowed to evaluate the technical part, the interface and usability, and the mathematical functionalities to strengthen the mathematical competences associated to this subject. As a result of the evaluation, three software were obtained that met the global quality percentage greater than 80%, which were MalMath, Symbolab and Grapher. It is concluded that there are currently several alternatives of mobile applications that allow to reinforce the mathematical skills and concepts acquired in the area of calculation, but depending on the specificity required with respect to contents the quality of software.
