360º Amateur Creativities is conceibed as a project to reflect through digital
art, on the various topics of the public and media agenda. This article gives an
account of the first investigative stage of the project that resulted in the collective
creation of a multimedia virtual reality based on 360° photography, that
addressed as a topic the stories of victims of the Colombian armed conflict. The
stories collected by Rutas del Conflicto within the framework of the project I
survived, were taken as a starting point. Process that involved conceptualizing,
exploring and creating around what it means to narrate (oneself) through
unconventional ways in front of critical issues such as the painful line of time
of the Colombian armed conflict. It is concluded that, although the mediated
experience does not fully enhance creativity, it does allow for the construction
of immersive hypertexts about the armed conflict, evidencing alternative ways
of connecting with the story of the other.
