Este artículo de reflexión explora la relación entre el sentido de la vida y la educación, subrayando la necesidad de una pedagogía que trascienda la mera transmisión de saberes para orientarse hacia la plenitud humana. Se parte de la constatación de que la crisis cultural contemporánea, marcada por la fragmentación y la pérdida de horizontes compartidos, demanda una reflexión pedagógica profunda acerca de los fines de la educación. A través del análisis hermenéutico de las principales aportaciones de diversos autores, se defiende que educar es acompañar a las personas en la búsqueda de significados que integren razón, afectividad y compromiso ético. El texto sostiene que la educación debe asumir explícitamente su dimensión existencial, promoviendo espacios de diálogo, autoconocimiento y apertura a la pluralidad de cosmovisiones. Se concluye que la pedagogía del sentido constituye hoy una exigencia ineludible para garantizar la formación integral de las nuevas generaciones.
