Within the framework of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Universidad de Manizales and the 26 years of publication of Lúmina, it is interesting to recount the beginnings, trajectory, and future outlook of the journal as an open space for academic debate. Throughout its history, the journal has addressed reflections on public accounting, accounting, economics, and management. Today, it invites discussion on issues related to Development and Organizations from the perspective of accounting, economic, and administrative sciences.
