Historically, Translation has not represented a problem by itself to Philosophy, at least not one that deserves analysis, despite the close relation between them. However, due to the publication of Routledge Handbook of Translation and Philosophy in 2017, that analyzes the relation between these two deeply, it has become evident that, due to the problem of Meaning widely studied in the Philosophy of the Language, Translation must be not only part of the philosophical study, but studied as a problem by itself. This article analyzes the relation between language, thought, culture and translation, with the intention of showing that every translation is, at least, an interpretation of the grammatical and situational context of a language.
