The article address the phenomenon of linguistic
changes, manifested in the texts, favored by ICT, especially
since the appearance of web 2.0, which allows users, especially
young people and adolescents, to produce and share their texts
in various media. Between the variations of the language they
emphasize the incorporation of neologisms (mainly coming from
the English language), the assignment of new meanings to existing
terms, the omission of linguistic norms, and the use of symbolisms
(type emoticons), doing that the texts are understandable for
young people and adolescents but amorphous and incoherent
for other population segments. This situation, characterized by
a colloquial language, becomes the possibility of subjective and
group identity, which when transferred to formal areas, as is the
case of academics, constitutes a negative manifestation due to
the impoverishment of the text, causing concerns and clashes.
