The following article presents a significant experience in the implementation of workshops aimed at strengthening personal skills and communication competencies. These workshops were developed within the framework of the Comprehensive Program for the Utilization of Social Service (PISSO) 2024, carried out by students and faculty members of the Social Communication program at UNAD in Palmira, Colombia.

The workshops targeted upper secondary school students in grades 10 and 11, in compliance with the mandatory social service requirement established in Article 97 of Law 115 of 1994 and Article 39 of Decree 1860 of 1994. Through a differentiated approach, practical workshops were conducted to enhance students’ personal and communication skills, leading to the development of innovative and didactic materials for the student community.
