Souvenirs are objects that in their different forms accompany the experiences of contemporary tourists. Souvenirs are increasingly massified in their forms of elaboration and even stimulate submerged economies, but even more importantly, they carry with them particular ways of framing the heritage of a geography or cultural assets, which due to different social, media and even political ones have led to attribute symbolic charges to them. These ways of seeing the world through objects devoid of any auratic property lead to reframing that is constantly changing and that varies according to the previous experience of whoever contemplates each object. These are reified narratives in artificial objects, in reproductions that, although they do not have the qualities of singular and pre-industrial art, do play a fundamental role in how the world is socially constructed.
