Knowledge and senses of the group ofrecyclers in the town of Engativá

Based on the research carried out within the framework of the Master of Educational Communication in Culture of the Minuto de Dios University Corporation,
with the group of the Association of recyclers for Engativá, this article presents a preview of results around, how does the development of the being
generate life alternatives that they form in their daily tasks and, in turn, mark territories and social positions in the face of a system that recognizes them as citizens? In this framework, the interest is to make visible this group of people, their political and participation knowledge and meanings in a world that is invisible, all of them which occur through the identification, analysis and reflection of collective knowledge; knowledge that is reconstructed through the life stories of recyclers in the locality. The purpose of this research is part of the socio-critical paradigm in order to achieve an emancipating and transforming awareness of its reality and contribute to the field of Communication and Education in Culture.
Despite the fact that the central concepts that are addressed in the course of the research are those of decoloniality, knowing, to be other emancipatory knowledge based on cultural traditions, expressions and routes of knowledge, and significant actions from day to day are made visible of this important persons.
