This article is derived from the research. The horror movie’s enchantress that explores the beauty as a veil and guardian of the sinister. Through an exegetical exercise, you reflect and take a tour through the beauty as esthetic category, reaching the possible meanings that you acquire when it is matched with the terrifying and the transgressor. In this inquiry you match the beauty with the sublime, with the contemplation, the familiar, the hidden and the mysterious, with the repellent and transgressor, turning out to be horror that gradually turns into melancholy.
