Qualisign, metaphor, and surrogate semias in Batman: The Dark Knight

Cualisigno, metáfora y semias substitutivas en Batman: El Caballero de la Noche

This article seeks to identify the presence and function of the qualisign, the metaphor and the substitute semias in Batman The Dark Knight while, at the same time, it is intended to articulate them for a greater understanding of them in practice. For this, contextual and intertextual elements of the footage will be used to analyze behaviors of the characters, as well as their respective role in the development of the story. Similarly, icons granted by DC Comics fiction were collected which have allowed the representation of the protagonists in real life and those bases that allowed the existence of the characters on the big screen. It concludes with the functionality and form in which each rhetorical figure is presented within the work.
