Cinema, as a representation of the real, explores human nature by allowing itself create from its intrinsic need for emulation, as an art of the abject that exposes his ability to extrapolate the human. This article thus reflects on the question Is cinema born from the need for emulation and extrapolation of the human? With this,
the abject in the seventh art is problematized as the possibility of exploring and opening
borders that allow positioning the moving image as a field of human construction
