The study on the State of the Art of the investigations in Communication in the program of Social Communication and Journalism of the University of Manizales, in the quinquennium 1998-2003, addressed three conceptual axes from the proposal of communication models by (Ángel, 2011), as categories of analysis or communication paradigms: transmissionist, discursive and constructionist. This article shows the results, in the framework of qualitative studies and the basis of the documentary review, based on the analysis Critic of Discourse (A.C.D.).
