Peritoneal catheter by percutanous approach has its main use in peritoneal dialysis for patients with acute or chronic renal failure, however other uses include peritoneal chemotherapy and ascitis chronic drainage. This article, describe the percutaneous approach of peritoneal catheter, uses and complications.
