Definición, importancia y análisis de la empresa familiar

Based on the importance that the family business represents in the world, it´s appropriate from the academic field to analyze its most representative characteristics, in order to structure strategies that allow improving its competitiveness and sustainability in the long term. In this sense, this document presents an overview of this type of organizations, in order to generate strategic information that allows structuring management models and corporate governance structures to take advantage of their competitive advantages while ensuring their permanence over time.
