The article refers to the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the academic field and then to a theoretical basis, supported by a literature review pertinent to the research topic, which is categorized by conceptual, methodological, legal and referential frames, to meet the methodology that describes the development of the research and its respective results. The aim of this article is to present the characterization of digital basic competences 2.0 in the use of the Moodle platform by a group of teachers of a technological educational institution.
