The trend around the empowerment of Industry 4.0 lies in learning from universities, the digital skills that ensure graduates with the intellectual capacity of the information, knowledge and communication society. The objective of this research is to analyze the importance that undergraduate students perceive with respect to directive digital skills. A quantitative, descriptive, and cross-sectional study was conducted. The sample was composed of 440 university students. An online questionnaire was applied, which measures the competences related to the digital economy and business models; with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT); with innovation, new products and customers; and with the organization of digital companies. The competences with the highest average are those related to ICT; followed by competences related to innovation, new products and customer relations; with the organizational structures of digital companies and finally with the characteristics of the digital economy and Business models. The students surveyed confirm, with their considerations, the importance of knowing and using ICT, over other digital skills.
