This document shows a solution to minimize the number
of points of access necessary (AP) in the design of a set of users
that will be distributed in a wireless network of local area (LAN) by
the creation of a model of optimization, who has as aim minimize
the number of sites candidates to deliver a service to every user
and to reduce the utilization of resources, for which it will be subject
to restrictions of coverage, capacity and loss of free space (FSL).
The restriction of coverage will take as bases the characteristics
provided by every AP used depending on his limitation to allow a
connection between the site candidate and the user, who must be
inside his radio of coverage. The second restriction of capacity,
also associated with the characteristics of the AP, together with
the restriction of coverage will allow a connection to the users
inside the interval of coverage and a specific number of recipients
that every AP could support. Finally, for the third restriction FSL’s
value will be calculated for every distance found between the AP
that they will give like proved an average of losses which will use
as reference to determine the connection.
