Project-Based Learning is a learning model in which students plan, implement,
and assess projects that can be applied in different contexts, and that go beyond the classroom (Blank, 1997; Dickinson, et al, 1998; Harwell, 1997). For that reason, in the framework of this document- oriented towards the recognition
of the individual and collaborative tools of Learning Management Systems
(LMS) - it is aimed at the technological, pedagogical and communicative applications of them as a teaching strategy in electronic learning (E-learning) and mixed (B Learning). In that sense, because of the systematization, the methodological process is described, including its strategies (forums, wikis, workshops, SCORM package, etc.) as long-term interdisciplinary learning activities focused on the student. It is concluded that this model facilitates the activation of cognitive processes and not only the fulfillment of curricular objectives.
