This paper expounds the result of a research
Project aimed at characterizing
the implications of critical pedagogy in
the academic production in the field
of Accounting Education in Colombia,
form an interpretative research point of
view. Critical pedagogy delivers several
possibilities for an accounting education
different in which there is a wide path
in construction in such a way that this
paper becomes an invitation to refl ect
and mobilize ourselves in the fi eld of
critical pedagogy.
