The purpose of this study is to find out how to enhance organizational culture as a strategy to achieve meaningful performance, given the growing needs in organizations to catch up lost time. It distinguishes the significant attributes of the challenges presented worldwide, the contrast of two models that evaluate organizational culture, taking into account robust administrative practices: a) the Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument (OCAI) by Cameron & Quinn (2006) and b) the Denison Organizational Culture Survey (DOCS) by Denison (2016).  The study includes the description and contrast of both models, the application of the DOCS model, its results when analyzing 2,828 people from 77 organizations in Mexico and significant conclusions. Furthermore, some scientific and practical implications are included answering the question: how could managers use cultural changes strategically for the purpose of achieving positive impacts on organizational performance?
